Matthew House is the home of a growing family, and we recognize that all families need traditions...and fun! Special annual events honor our most recent residents and thank our volunteers; build awareness of our mission; and raise funds for our operating costs. Board members recognize volunteers with dinners and luncheons on an annual basis to show their appreciation for such dedication and commitment to the residents of Matthew House.
Spring Volunteer Recognition Luncheon
Save the date! Our Annual Spring Volunteer Recognition Luncheon will be held Saturday, April 21st at noon, at The Point. Guest speaker: Matthew Binkewicz, Hospice Pastoral Care Coordinator.
Twice a year, Matthew House volunteers are invited to enjoy a meal together and celebrate their achievements – while being served, rather than serving. April brings the Spring Volunteer Recognition Luncheon, with a three-course meal, keynote presentation, recognition of notable accomplishments, and a gift to take home. During the fall, a covered dish supper shows off the culinary talents of our volunteers, staff and Board and includes a tribute to the past year's residents.
