Events

Though the care of our residents requires much hard work from our resident director and volunteers, Matthew House recognizes the need for some fun throughout the year! These annual events raise awareness about our mission and core values, as well as raise funds for the operating costs of the house. Board members recognize volunteers with dinners and luncheons on an annual basis to show their appreciation for such dedication and commitment to the residents of Matthew House.

Rock the House

Reserve the first Friday in January for Matthew House's annual "over the top" fundraiser. The event is held at The Lodge at Welch Allyn, in Skaneateles, NY, and is a great source of revenue for the House. Tickets for the event include food, bar, dancing and live entertainment. A Silent Auction and Live Auction are also an integral part of the night.

Annual Cocktail Party

The first Friday night of August has become a "Cocktail Party" evening for Matthew House. This event takes place in Auburn and includes a lovely catered menu, music and silent auction. This has become a great fundraiser for Matthew House and the Auburn community and continues to be an evening enjoyed by all.

Volunteer Events

Matthew House recognizes the countless volunteers who graciously offer their time and service to our grateful residents. We honor these volunteers at annual luncheons and covered dish dinners throughout the year. The events are a wonderful time for gathering and celebrating the accomplishments of our volunteers.

Father’s Day Car Show

The Father’s Day Car Show raises awareness and donations to benefit Matthew House on an annual basis. We appreciate the generosity of the community and the overwhelming support of our donors.
